Friday night I was blessed to be able to photograph the last home preseason game for the Detroit Lions. The Lions hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars at Ford Field in Detroit, MI. Here are some of the images.

Last Saturday I was able to photograph the Detroit Lions preseason opener as they hosted Johnny Manziel and the Cleveland Browns at Ford Field in Detroit. The Lions came from behind to win the game 13-12 by scoring the only touchdown of the game.   During preseasons there is not as much emphasis put on photographing game action as there is on getting new players on their new teams.  This may be rookies or free agents who signed in the off seasons.  The big story from this game was Johnny Manziel.  He made his NFL debut and Jim Caldwell won his first game as the Detroit Lions head coach.   Here are some of the images.  Enjoy!

This past weekend I went out to Ann Arbor to photograph the Michigan Wolverines as the football team held their annual spring game at Michigan Stadium. The last time I was at the Big House it was snowing and about 50 degrees cooler, so I was delighted that this time was much warmer and sunnier.  Here are some of the pictures from the nice sunny day out in Ann Arbor. I spent most of my Thanksgiving down in Detroit photographing the Detroit Lions as they hosted the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field. It was a fun time!  Everyone was in a good mood and just happy to be there. I am thankful that I had this opportunity to shoot the game on Thanksgiving, but for now it is time to eat some turkey. The last two days I have been blessed to be able to photograph the Detroit Lions as they opened their training camp in Allen Park at the team’s training facility. Training camp is always fun because there is so much going on and so little time to photograph it. I had fun shooting and hope you enjoy some of these images.

Where do I even begin?  I have been blessed so much this year!  I have been blessed with my family and with the friendships that have grown, as well as the new friendships I have made.  I have been able to further my education and have been able to do a job I love.
