MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers at Detroit Tigers

Last week I had the opportunity to once again work with a South Korean company, Penta Press,  and photograph a South Korean baseball player. This time I would be photographing Hyun-Jin Ryu of the Los Angeles Dodgers as they went up against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park.  Without further ado,  here are some of my pictures of Ryu.

Ryu probably did not stay in the game as long as he had hoped. With him out of the game, I decided I would stick around for some time and see what other pictures I could come across.

After Hanley Ramirez scored a run, he made his way through the dugout high fiving everyone.  After there was no one left in the dugout, he made his way into the photo well to high five me and another photographer.

As a photographer granted access to the prestigious USBC Masters tournament held at Thunderbowl Lanes, I knew I needed to focus on capturing the emotions of the bowlers, including their expressions of triumph or defeat, as well as high-fives and other celebratory gestures.
