Playoff Basketball: Macomb at Oakland

Although it is my winter break this week, it is far from a break for me. I have the opportunity to shoot about four or five games this week, but I will probably only do two games. I also am planning on a portrait session later in the week.

This game was a regional playoff game. It was Oakland vs. Macomb. The winner is going on to the semifinals on Friday night. Macomb was was the sixth seed and Oakland was the third seed. Oakland had the home court advantage so I headed over there to shoot the game. As always, I started with warm ups. I like using the floor’s refection as you can see with the two shots below.

Since there was no women’s game before, they sang National Anthem this time.

Then the game was off. It started off rough for Oakland, but by halftime they had the lead.

Towards the end Oakland had it, and Macomb knew it.

That ends this post.
