I was blessed to be able to spend New Years Eve and New Years Day covering the Winter Classic and the Alumni Showdown.<\/p>\n

The Alumni game was held at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit.\u00a0 While covering the Alumni game, my main goal was to capture the atmosphere and the surroundings with some action.\u00a0\u00a0 Below are some of the shots that I came up with.<\/p>\n

The Winter Classic game was held at the Big House.\u00a0 It broke records as the most viewed hockey game with over 105,000 people in attendance.\u00a0 To add to the feel of the Winter Classic, there was a great snow storm and it felt like 0o <\/sup>F.\u00a0 Despite the snowy cold weather, the atmosphere at the game was amazing.\u00a0 The fans were all into it and stayed through overtime and the shootout.\u00a0 Here are some of the images from New Years Day.<\/p>\n
