This past weekend I once again had the opportunity to work with the Professional Bowling Association (PBA). It was last year that I first had this great opportunity to work with them when they came to Detroit. It seems whenever there is a bowling event in town you can find me there, whether it is the NCAA Championship or the PBA. So, when the PBA asked me to cover this year’s event I was more than glad to do it.
This year the event was at Thunderbowl Lanes in Allen Park, MI. I was there for three days while ESPN was taping their shows. There were four league quarterfinals, two league semifinals, a Super Clash match-up and the Tournament of Champions. With over 2,000 images to go through, here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Last night’s game was a match up between the Detroit Pistons and the New Orleans Pelicans at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The game was an exciting one which came down to the final seconds. It was tied with seconds left and the Pelicans had the ball. New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Eric Gordon was able to drive to the basket and make the shot winning the game for his team. Even with the lost, Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond had a dominating game with 20 rebounds and 21 points. Here are some images from the game as the Detroit Pistons hosted the New Orleans Pelicans at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Enjoy!
I was blessed to be able to spend New Years Eve and New Years Day covering the Winter Classic and the Alumni Showdown.
The Alumni game was held at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit. While covering the Alumni game, my main goal was to capture the atmosphere and the surroundings with some action. Below are some of the shots that I came up with.
I spent most of my Thanksgiving down in Detroit photographing the Detroit Lions as they hosted the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field. It was a fun time! Everyone was in a good mood and just happy to be there. I am thankful that I had this opportunity to shoot the game on Thanksgiving, but for now it is time to eat some turkey. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the pictures!

Earlier this week I was blessed to be able to photograph game 4 of the ALDS. The Detroit Tigers were hosting the Oakland Athletics at Comerica Park for what turned out to be a very exciting game. Up next will be the ALCS.
Last week I was asked by the Detroit Pistons to cover their open practice at the Palace of Auburn Hills. They were holding an open practice for the general public and also had some special events going on. The first event was the Spirit Three Point Competition. This was the final round and twelve participants had made it. Next was the Pistons open practice and scrimmage. Lastly, all the season ticket holders were treated to a meal and a chance to mingle with the players. Here are some of my images. Enjoy!
Ealier today I was blessed to be able to photograph the Detroit Lions at they hosted the Chicago Bears at Ford Field in Detroit. Here are some of the pictures from the game. Enjoy!
The last two days I have been blessed to be able to photograph the Detroit Lions as they opened their training camp in Allen Park at the team’s training facility. Training camp is always fun because there is so much going on and so little time to photograph it. I had fun shooting and hope you enjoy some of these images.
I was recently able to photograph a book signing at the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA). Authors Rayya Elias and Elizabeth Gilbert, who is the #1 New York Times Bestselling author of Eat, Pray, Love, were there. The two were signing their books as well as promoting the release of Elias’ book.
