The night before Thanksgiving I was able to photograph the Detroit Pistons as they hosted the Miami Heat at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The day before the game Tom Gores, the Detroit Pistons owner, announced that he was moving the team back to Detroit next season. Back in September I approached by Turner Sports. They were looking to do an image campaign for the MLB playoffs. The Detroit Tigers were in the run for the wildcard in the American League division so Detroit was one of the cities that was going to be part of the campaign. I was excited and honored to be part of the campaign. Over the next few days Turner Sports and I worked out all of the logistics for the campaign. I was to spend one day shooting a Tigers game to capture the atmosphere at Comerica Park and then spend the next night in Detroit photographing the city. It was a blast shooting and everyone was great to work with. Here are some of the images. Enjoy!
