The post 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Water Polo Championship first appeared on Tim Fuller Photography | Blog.
]]>Last month I was able to work with NCAA Photos once again to capture the NCAA Division I Women’s Water Polo Championship at Canham Natatorium on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor. Previously, I had worked with the NCAA to photograph the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament First & Second Rounds at U of M. It was good to be back on campus and working with the NCAA. It was a unique challenge as water polo is not a frequent sport here in Michigan. Being that I was working for the NCAA, it requires capturing the action, but also the atmosphere before and after. This would include things like the team arrivals and celebration afterwards. Without further ado, here are some of the images from the day. Hope you enjoy the images. Enjoy!

]]>Back in April I was able to work with the Archdiocese of Detroit and Sacred Heart Seminary once again to capture the ordination to the diaconate. This year, there was six men. I had previously photographed this event in years before, including in 2016. It was a beautiful event and I enjoyed the opportunity again. I was glad for the wonderful weather we had that day, as it made for some nice lighting indoors. It was a great time working with everyone and hope you enjoy the pictures.
You can see some of these pictures and more at Detroit Catholic.

]]>Back in September I approached by Turner Sports. They were looking to do an image campaign for the MLB playoffs. The Detroit Tigers were in the run for the wildcard in the American League division so Detroit was one of the cities that was going to be part of the campaign. I was excited and honored to be part of the campaign. Over the next few days Turner Sports and I worked out all of the logistics for the campaign. I was to spend one day shooting a Tigers game to capture the atmosphere at Comerica Park and then spend the next night in Detroit photographing the city. It was a blast shooting and everyone was great to work with. Here are some of the images. Enjoy!

]]>Leading up to Memorial Day weekend, we were able to take a break and take a vacation. The trip lead us down South and we were able to see lots of things that the everyday work life doesn’t allow us to see. There were waterfalls, wild strawberries, all kinds of creatures, ranches, farms and mountains. It was a relaxing time and we look forward to next time. For now, enjoy the pictures!

]]>I was recently able to photograph a book signing at the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA). Authors Rayya Elias and Elizabeth Gilbert, who is the #1 New York Times Bestselling author of Eat, Pray, Love, were there. The two were signing their books as well as promoting the release of Elias’ book.
One of the amazing things about my job is everyday of work is at a “new office”. I find myself working in new places, meeting new people, and being able to travel. I primarily do a lot of sports photography so I gratefully accepted a new challenge. It was a great privilege and blessing to be able to work at the gorgeous DIA. I hope I will have the opportunity to work there again and want to say that Rayya was great to work with and best of luck to her!

]]>Where do I even begin? I have been blessed so much this year! I have been blessed with my family and with the friendships that have grown, as well as the new friendships I have made. I have been able to further my education and have been able to do a job I love.
This past year I was fortunate to be able to travel to new places and be able to photograph them. I was able to meet new people and photograph new things. I photographed my first World Series and was grateful to be able to work with new clients as well as to continue and grow my relationship with past clients.
As the year comes to an end I can only hope that 2013 will be as good as 2012, and in these last few days of 2012 I would like to share some of my photos from this past year. Hope you enjoy the pictures and have a Happy New Year!

]]>Most events that I cover consist of some type of fast action, whether it be a football, racing, basketball, etc. However, recently I was able to cover a Slovak Festival. This was a little bit of a change of pace for me. I didn’t have to shoot with both eyes open and could just relax and try to shoot creatively in a different environment. Here are some pictures. Hope you enjoy!
