This past weekend I was blessed to be able to photograph the World Series. I had been covering the Tigers in the ALDS and ALCS and each round became busier and busier. So, with the World Series I was sure to arrive extra early to beat the traffic. It was also important to arrive early so that we could cover the interviews, press conferences, batting practices, etc. Once arriving there, I met up with my colleagues. I was working with a team of four other photographers and two on site editors. My job was to photograph the batters head on from right center field during the game.
Before the game started I was assigned to cover a few interviews and help cover batting practice.
With about 30 minutes before the start of the game, I started to make my way to my position. That gave me plenty of time to fight my way through the crowds and set up.
