This past weekend I was blessed to be able to photograph the Detroit Lions as they hosted the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field in Detroit, MI. The game came down to the kickers with Dan Carpenter hitting the game winner. Here are some of my images from the game. Enjoy!
As a photographer granted access to the prestigious USBC Masters tournament held at Thunderbowl Lanes, I knew I needed to focus on capturing the emotions of the bowlers, including their expressions of triumph or defeat, as well as high-fives and other celebratory gestures. Along with the action on the lanes, I captured the atmosphere of the tournament by taking photos of the fans, scoreboard, and ambiance of Thunderbowl Lanes. Overall, with the right gear, lighting, and techniques, I was able to capture some amazing images of the world’s best bowlers in action and hope these tips can help you capture equally amazing photos at your next sporting event.
