This weekend I was blessed to be able to cover the American League Division Series. The Oakland Athletics were at Comerica Park going up against the Detroit Tigers. As a photographer granted access to the prestigious USBC Masters tournament held at Thunderbowl Lanes, I knew I needed to focus on capturing the emotions of the bowlers, including their expressions of triumph or defeat, as well as high-fives and other celebratory gestures.
