UNO at MSU

This past weekend I was blessed to be able to once again head over to Michigan State in East Lansing. This time I was working for the University of Nebraska-Omaha as they took on Tom Izzo and the Spartans. UNO is in it’s first year of Division I basketball and this was their biggest game yet. Here are a few images from the game and be sure to check out the gallery.

For the picture below I was able to get it by waiting for the players to enter the arena. The black background is from the darkness under the bleachers. I thought it made for a somewhat of a cool shot.

As a photographer granted access to the prestigious USBC Masters tournament held at Thunderbowl Lanes, I knew I needed to focus on capturing the emotions of the bowlers, including their expressions of triumph or defeat, as well as high-fives and other celebratory gestures.
