Happy 2023 to everyone! Yes, I may be a week late, but sometimes that is just how things go. This past week I kicked the year off with a Red Wings game and Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI. As a sports photographer, you get to see all different kids of sports. Hockey is one of the fastest moving games. I always enjoy the challenge it brings! Recently I was able to photograph the Detroit Red Wings as they hosted the Pittsburgh Penguins at the all new Little Caesars Arena in Downtown Detroit. I was very eager to see the new arena and learn what it had to offer. It is very large and offers a great variety to fans. For photographers, it offered new LED lighting which is very nice.

Recently, I was able to work with Franco Public Relations Group and cover a charity hockey game for Stahls’. Stahls’ is the official licensee of the NHL and they for all the teams. The charity game was between Stahls’ and the Detroit Red Wings Alumni team. The event was held at an outdoor rink, Clark Park, in Detroit, MI. The event brought together Olympic gold medalist, Mark Wells, and Stanley Cup winners like Darren McCarty. It was a great day in Detroit for some hockey fun. Here are some of the images. Enjoy!
