Archdiocese of Detroit – Transitional Diaconate Ordination 2022

April 23, 2022; During the Transitional Diaconate Ordination for the Archdiocese of Detroit at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit, MI.

Back in April I was able to work with the Archdiocese of Detroit and Sacred Heart Seminary once again to capture the ordination to the diaconate. This year, there was six men. I had previously photographed this event in years before, including in 2016. It was a beautiful event and I enjoyed the opportunity again. I was glad for the wonderful weather we had that day, as it made for some nice lighting indoors. It was a great time working with everyone and hope you enjoy the pictures.

Sacred Heart Major Seminary – Diaconate Ordination

Recently, I was able to work with the Archdiocese of Detroit and their seminary, Sacred Heart Major Seminary, to photograph the Transitional Diaconate Ordination. I approached the day similar to a wedding and it was a great opportunity to be able to photograph in a place with such beautiful architecture. It was an honor to be able to capture such an important day for these men. Here are some of the images from the day. Enjoy!
